Lately, we’ve been hearing a lot of reports of animal abuse cases happening here and there in the country. It’s saddening to see that animal cruelty is still rampant in today’s society, despite several efforts that have been made to enlighten the local community.
Recently, Janna Nick revealed that she also encountered a form of animal cruelty. The actress-singer was left feeling infuriated and dismayed after discovering her pet cat’s body was physically injured. In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Janna claimed that it might had been abused by her neighbour.
“I don’t understand how this type of neighbour exist. I’m rarely at home, so I assume this cat often goes to their house. Previously, they had splashed water on my cat until it got wet. I’m still fine with that. But why did you even go as far as to pulling its fur out? I don’t know what else they did to my cat. They even threatened to slaughter it,” the “Gatal” singer revealed.
“I have three cats. I understand others will get mad if they found cats entering their house. I’ve already tried everything. I even put up a net (so they won’t escape). But they still climbed over the net, then what should we do about it? But I know my cats will never leave their poops in someone else’s house,” the “Anugerah Bintang Popular” winner added in her post.
Janna went on and elaborated, “My cats have already been potty-trained. So don’t lie. If what they said is the truth, then they will provide an evidence. Don’t just abuse someone else’s pet as you please. To whoever who did this, I hope God will punish you. How can a human-being be so cruel to an adorable creature like this? I hate you.”
In her subsequent postings on IG Story, the 27-year-old celeb also stated that she will be lodging a complaint to the authorities regarding the alleged animal abuse case. “And you thought there are no legal acts for animal abuse cases in the world? Don’t be foolish,” Janna wrote on her post.
