Global superstar Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/잭슨) is quite fond of Malaysia, as this is where he created his latest album, “MAGIC MAN 2”. So, naturally, his recent visit to Kuala Lumpur would see the star having fun around the city.
Last Saturday (25th October 2025), Jackson performed at the Axiata Arena as part of his ongoing “MAGIC MAN 2” World Tour. The show was a success with many memorable and viral moments. However, it was what happened after the show that piqued interest. During his sold-out show, the 31-year-old asked the crowd about what to do in KL, prompting some to recommend that he visit one of many nightclubs.
Sure enough, after concluding his concert, Jackson was spotted at Kyo in downtown KL. The star was having fun with fans and his team members, enjoying the energy of the crowd. As shown in one video, Jackson even made a speech to express his love and gratitude towards Malaysia and the locals. After having a few drinks and partying, Jackson started asking around, wondering where he could go in the city for a late-night meal.
On the recommendations of the crowd, Jackson and his team would later end their night at Petaling Street. The singer was spotted having a late-night meal at Luck Bros Kopi, chowing down on the restaurant’s signature fried chicken. Also spotted on the table was a tower of iced Milo, which is another popular menu item. Luck Bros Kopi also shared about Jackson’s visit, posting the selfie he took with the staff members.
Fans have since reacted to Jackson’s mini adventure after his KL concert, mostly amused by how localised he is. Some joked that it’s “very Malaysian” for the singer to visit clubs and restaurants after a concert. Some fans even quipped that the star genuinely followed his fans’ suggestions on where to go in the city. Meanwhile, some noted that Jackson didn’t visit a mamak like on his past visits.
