You’re bound to run into famous celebrities when you attend grand and exclusive events hosted by the biggest brands in the world. So you can imagine how starstruck anyone would feel if they spotted their favourite idols at those events. It’s one thing to spot one K-pop star at a party but two of them? Now that would sent fans into a frenzy.
Earlier this week, GOT7 member Jackson Wang (잭슨/王嘉爾) posted an Instagram Story to share with fans that he was on a flight to Singapore but did not disclose the reason behind the trip. It was later revealed yesterday (Wednesday, 10th July), that he was invited to attend the Cartier Trinity 100 Pop-up event that was held at The Arts House.
The idol, who previously attended the Cartier event in Shanghai last week, was not the only K-pop star who was present at the lavish party. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo (김지수) was also seen among the guests of global superstars. Unlike Jackson, the “FLOWER” singer kept her arrival on the down low, possibly to avoid being swarmed by fans at the airport. Sadly there is no information on whether or not the girl group member and the “100 Ways” artist interacted that evening.
Jisoo was, however, seen having a chat with South Korean actress Roh Yoonseo (노윤서), who made her acting debut in the popular K-drama “Our Blues”. Known for being the life of the party, Jackson was later seen busting some sick moves on the dancefloor at one point during the event, dancing to Japanese group XG’s “Woke Up”. After the event was over, the “MAGIC MAN” greeted some fans outside the venue before he turned in for the night.
The night was definitely full of stars and we’re not talking about the ones in the sky. Other celebrities like Thai singer-actor Jeff Satur and Tor Thanapob were also on the famous guest list at the Cartier party with the former being one of the performers that evening.
