As you may know, Form 5 students in Malaysia are currently sitting for their SPM exams and many have expressed their anxieties on social media, which is understandable. Although it is not the end of the world if one does not ace their exams, it’s still good to have some sort of backup plan.
In fact, some high school students have already started prepping their resumes to apply for jobs, while others have listed down possible universities they could enroll in. This SPM candidate, however, decided to be a little more creative with his backup plan. His Plan B? Asking Dato Seri Vida’s daughter to adopt him. Here’s how Cik B reacted to the request:

Yesterday (Tuesday, 30th January), Cik B posted a TikTok video of several voice messages she received on her Instagram from a netizen who claims to be an SPM candidate. In those messages, the student asked the influencer if she could adopt him if he doesn’t pass his SPM exams. “Please, can you adopt and financially support me? I’m really scared that I will fail,” he begged.
Instead of freeloading, the anonymous person proposed an idea in hopes that the 18-year-old would consider taking him in. “Here’s the deal, you can go to work while I stay at home and take care of your mother Dato Seri Vida, how about that?” The public figure found the whole thing ridiculously amusing as seen in the text caption and emojis in the video.
Netizens had the same reactions with many agreeing that the whole proposal was hilarious. Some made a pun that this was the student’s “Plan B” because he approached Cik “B” with the silly idea. Others jokingly commented that DS Vida would probably end up taking care of him instead of the other way around.
Of course, the person who sent the messages was most likely not serious about the whole thing but hats off for being creative.
