It’s no surprise that Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/잭슨) has a lot of female fans, but who knew that a popular Hong Kong actress is part of that crowd? Recently, Grace Chan (陳凱琳) was spotted at the singer’s Macau concert, living her best fangirl life!
The “GBAD” star is currently embarking on his world tour for his new album “MAGICMAN 2”. Jackson recently performed three back-to-back shows in Macau, selling out the Galaxy Arena. Given his popularity in Asia, many celebrities attended the concerts. However, the star who caught the most attention was Grace Chan, who was at the third and final night. The actress even got a special shout-out from Jackson himself.
At one point during the concert, Jackson mentioned seeing many of his celebrity friends in the audience. The camera then focused on Grace, showing her in her concert outfit. The actress had a bright smile on her face, waving to greet the cheering crowd. During the interaction, Jackson said, “Our princess is finally here with us today”, which elicited more screams from the fans. Grace also appeared to get flustered at the sudden nickname.
However, the highlight was when Grace got to join Jackson and a group of other concert attendees to dance on stage. The 34-year-old seemed nervous at first, but quickly warmed up and started showing off her moves. Grace and Jackson even danced together, with the latter grabbing the actress’s hand to give her a twirl before hyping her up for a solo shot. The two stars even shared a quick hug afterwards.
After the memorable evening, Grace took to Instagram to talk about her experience. In her post, the star mentioned being surprised at the shout-out during the concert and being called a princess. However, she voiced gratitude towards Jackson for his kindness, saying she left the show as a bigger fan than before. Grace also shared photos from the night, including ones taken backstage with Jackson, rapper MC Jin and basketball player Jeremy Lin.
Online, fans were happy to see the two stars interact and have fun on stage. Perhaps we’ll see Jackson interact with some local celebrities when he brings his “MAGICMAN 2” tour to Malaysia later this month.
