It appears that everywhere G-Dragon (지드래곤) goes, the fans will follow. The singer, who recently completed the Taipei stop of his “Ubermensch” tour, was spotted at a popular restaurant in Taiwan, which prompted a large crowd to gather in front of the building.
The “POWER” singer recently completed a three-day show at the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan. Following the conclusion of the concert’s final show on 13th July (Sunday), the star headed to the Gold Pig Korean barbeque restaurant for a well-deserved dinner. However, news of the singer dining at the restaurant made its way to fans, who then rushed to gather at the eatery.
According to reports, hundreds of fans were already waiting for G-Dragon at the restaurant, even before he finished his performance. After his show ended, even more fans started crowding the building. When the BIGBANG (빅뱅) leader arrived on the scene, the fans cheered, causing a huge commotion. After finishing his meal, G-Dragon appeared once again in front of the waiting fans. As a show of respect, the star took off his hat to bow and wave to the crowd.
Fans filled up each corner of the street where the restaurant was. However, security was strict during the night, so there were barriers placed to ensure G-Dragon’s safety as he entered and exited the restaurant. The restaurant staff also reportedly covered all the windows to block outsiders from looking into the building when the star was inside.
During his stay in Taipei, G-Dragon also met up with another international superstar, Mandopop icon Jay Chou (周杰倫). Yesterday (14th July 2025, Monday), the latter shared a couple of photos of himself with the Korean singer. According to Jay Chou, the pair bonded over their shared interest in wine and art. The stars previously met in January 2025 in Paris. There are also rumours that the two’s recent meeting was to discuss a potential collaboration.
It seems that G-Dragon made the most out of his visit to Taiwan. Let’s hope he’ll have a great stay in Kuala Lumpur when he arrives in town for his concert at Axiata Arena later this week.
