Just because someone is a very famous celebrity, it doesn’t mean fans know everything about them. It’s always a treat to learn something new about your favourite artist, especially when they become more comfortable sharing parts of their lives with fans during interviews or even livestreams on social media.
Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨), who is currently in Indonesia, was recently interviewed on RCTI+’s Idolyfe show, where he shared a few things about himself that fans may or may not know. Here are some fun facts about the idol:
1. He can’t sleep without a pillow underneath his legs
The first fun fact: Jackson can’t fall asleep without a pillow underneath his legs. Although he didn’t mention why, it’s most likely for health reasons. According to Self and Gleneagles Hospital KL, placing a pillow underneath your legs or knees can help reduce back pain, as it relaxes your back muscles and maintains the curve of your lower back.
2. He’s allergic to chili
The second fun fact: the GOT7 member is allergic to chilli. However, he clarified that the allergy is not too severe, as he can consume up to a certain amount. “I can [sort of] eat spicy food, but I’m allergic to chilli,” he said, dispelling rumours online that suggested he loves eating spicy food.
3. He hates Woody from the “Toy Story” franchise
It is a well-known fact that the “100 Ways” artist is a huge fan of Buzz Lightyear from the Disney-Pixar animated franchise “Toy Story”, as he has mentioned it multiple times during interviews. However, not many know that he has a deep dislike for the main character of the films, Woody. “He doesn’t deserve his role. What does he do? Buzz can fly and shoot lasers. What can Woody do? Nothing”, he stated before moving the actual toys on the piano on the show’s set.
