While she’s no longer in Malaysia, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) still has plenty of content from when she was in town. Recently, the world-renowned star posted about the many friends she made while in Malaysia – including our very own Dato Seri Vida!
Fan Bingbing recently took to Instagram to reminisce about her memories from her Malaysia trip, including her meeting with local entrepreneur Dato Seri Vida. In the video she shared, the two were talking to each other in a mix of Mandarin and English as Dato Seri Vida introduced the Chinese actress to her PappiCorn popcorn snack. The Malaysian media personality also asked Fan Bingbing’s opinion of the snack, to which the actress praised the snack.
In exchange for the delicious snack, the “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” actress gifted Dato Seri Vida several boxes of face masks from her beauty brand, Fan Beauty. Fan Bingbing also explained the benefits of each face mask line to the entrepreneur, who seemed very excited about the gifts. Towards the end of the video, Dato Seri Vida showered Fan Bingbing with compliments about her beauty and business prowess.
Many fans and locals have reacted to the video, expressing amusement over the two public figures’ interaction. Some also joked that the duo is the most unexpected combination. Even singer Shila Amzah was surprised to learn that Fan Bingbing met with the eccentric entrepreneur. Nevertheless, the two seemed to be on friendly terms, with Fan Bingbing even adding she was pleased to meet Dato Seri Vida.
Besides sharing about her meeting with the Qu Puteh founder, Fan Bingbing also revealed that she met with other public figures in Malaysia. In another post, the star shared photos of her with Shila, politician Nur Izzah and influencer Angelloweee. The 43-year-old also shared more shots from her meeting with singer Leng Yein (林云), entrepreneur Chryseis Tan and their family members.
It’s impressive how many local celebs Fan Bingbing managed to meet up with despite her packed schedule. We can’t wait to see what other content she had stored from her Malaysian trip!
