Rumours of a romantic relationship between actor Fattah Amin and singer Amira Othman show no sign of dying down. The pair previously appeared in an advertisement for lifestyle brand Amber, which fans described as resembling a “pre-wedding” video due to its romantic setting and atmosphere.

Over the weekend, Amira Othman shared a video of herself in a hotel room dressed in wedding attire. The clip also showed wedding gifts and even a ring on display, while the star spoke to the camera about fate. “We all have our own destinies. No one really knows God’s plans, but don’t worry about the journey. Trust in Him,” she wrote in the caption. The post quickly drew attention from fans, many of whom assumed she was announcing her engagement.
While some congratulated the actress on what they believed to be the next chapter in her life, others were left puzzled, questioning whether she was truly getting married. A number of fans also speculated that the video might instead be a music video or a promotional snippet for her upcoming telefilm “Poskad Cinta Dari Auckland”, in which she stars alongside Fattah Amin.
For those who believed Amira Othman was about to get married, it has since been revealed that she was simply modelling for fashion brand HIJABISTAHUB, which is releasing a new bridal collection. The company announced its latest series earlier today (Monday, 25th August), featuring Amira as the model for one of the pieces.
Rather than expressing disappointment, fans remarked on how beautiful Amira looked in the bridal attire, with many hoping to see her wear it again on her actual wedding day. Some also noted that the latest caption from the brand was an improvement on its earlier posts, as it helped dispel rumours that could otherwise have been used to slander the stars involved in the promotional campaign.
