It’s frustrating when you can’t find a restroom nearby to do your business but that is still no excuse to relieve yourself wherever you please. A man in prayer attire was previously caught urinating behind a parked car late at night and prior to that, a woman from Terengganu did the same thing at a 7-Eleven store.

Now imagine seeing the same person urinating in public a number of times throughout your entire holiday somewhere. That’s what happened to this family who were shocked after seeing an old woman reliving herself in public 3 times in one day.

As reported on Stomp yesterday (Wednesday, 18th October), an elderly woman was caught urinating in public with her pants down. Passersby were all distraught by her actions including a mother and her 6-year-old daughter. The mother, named Suzanne submitted the story to the news outlet and revealed that the incident happened at Block 571C Woodlands Avenue 1, Singapore last month.

“We were in Singapore visiting our family and stayed with them in Woodlands. That day, we were waiting for our Grab ride with our 6-year-old daughter to go to Universal Studios when we heard a man near us yelling out. We were very shocked to witness this auntie peeing openly in public. She even did it three times!” she said. The displeased woman added that they’ve witnessed the auntie urinating in public a few times throughout their 2-weeks stay.

While Suzanne was unhappy that her young daughter had to see such an indecent act, she was also concerned for the auntie’s well-being as she appeared to be in her 80s and possibly senile. “We just hope that she’s well looked after whenever she’s home.”

Unfortunately, no one has come forward on behalf of the elderly women to clarify the situation. As you may expect, it is illegal to urinate or defecate in public spaces in Singapore and those who are found guilty will be charged with a fine of up to $1,000 (RM3,467) for the first offence, and up to $2,000 (RM6,934) and $5,000 (RM10k) for the second and third offence respectively.

Let’s hope that the auntie’s caretakers become aware of the situation and keep an eye on her strange behaviour whenever she’s out.
