When it comes to K-pop idols, many fans wonder about the unique habits of their favourite K-pop stars. However, BLACKPINK(블랙핑크) ’s Jisoo (김지수) has one that has left both BLINKs and the internet baffled – she enjoyed eating newspaper!
The 30-year-old K-pop idol recently shared one of her bizarre habits in an interview that left both the host and viewers completely stunned. During the conversation, the singer casually confessed her unique habit started as early as (and ended) when she was in preschool. Here’s the full story:
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recently made an appearance on the popular Korean reality show “Salon Drip (살롱드립 시즌)”, hosted by Jang Doyeon (장도연). The star revealed a quirky habit that left the host in disbelief – she enjoyed the taste of newspaper when she was a toddler. The Radio Star host then asked her how it tasted, to which she replied, “The newspapers taste good. Coloured paper tastes like nothing, and tissues taste bad.”
When the BLACKPINK member was asked about her strange taste test, Jisoo recalled trying different types of paper as a kid, admitting that she thought newspapers actually tasted good. “It tasted salty and tasty. If you chew for a long time, you can really taste it,” she explained.
She further elaborated that she also tried eating tissues which she described as tasting bad. “I spit it out and gave up on eating paper after that,” she laughed before explaining that it was during a time in her childhood before she had any self-awareness. “I draw the line between me and that version of myself. They are two different people,” she added. The 39-year-old TV host burst out laughing and said she had never met anyone like her before, adding, “Why was she like that?”
Aside from discussing her peculiar habit, the “Snowdrop” actress mentioned her experiences of becoming the CEO of her own company. She talked about the challenges and unexpected moments she faced while running her business.
