It’s official – Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) has finally landed in Malaysia! If you haven’t heard, the Chinese actress was appointed the tourism ambassador for Melaka and her first order of business is meeting fans in the state. However, some lucky fans managed to meet her in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
According to a post from the Facebook page “Johor My Hometown 我来自柔佛”, Fan Bingbing paid a short visit to the Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur on 13th June (Thursday). It seems the actress stopped by the Empro store to check out some beauty products from the brand. While it’s not sure whether it was part of an official visit or just a casual drop, Empro founder Prof Dr Coco Lee was also present during her visit.
Despite dressing casually in a baggy flower print dress, Fan Bingbing’s aura still shines through. The Facebook post even said that the star was beautiful in person and that her complexion was very smooth, even describing the actress as a “goddess-level figure”. Other fans also said that the public figure was friendly and even stopped to take some photos.
It’s likely that Fan Bingbing is already in Melaka since her first meet and greet is scheduled for today at Platform Tinjau Stadthuys in Bandar Hilir, Melaka. However, no worries if you can’t make it in time because she will hold another session on the 15th at Encore Melaka. It’s also believed that Fan Bingbing will officiate the mural painted to honour her appointment as tourism ambassador so fans can also visit the site for a chance to see her.
It does sound like Fan Bingbing has a packed schedule ahead of her – but we hope the actress will still have an enjoyable time in Malaysia.
