Just when you think Raya couldn’t get any more exciting, it’s been announced that fans would get the chance to celebrate the festivities with a certain local celebrity! Yesterday (Thursday, 25th April), Airbnb posted on their official website that they’re bringing back their annual Riangnya Raya Bersama Airbnb Open House!
What better way to celebrate the joyous occasion than to have a charismatic celebrity to co-host the 2-night event? According to the announcement, actor-singer Meerqeen will be welcoming guests to the ultimate Raya getaway at his favourite family-friendly Airbnb stay.
As mentioned earlier, not only will fans get to enjoy delicious food and great company, but they’ll also get to meet the 22-year-old star himself! To make everyone’s stay even more enjoyable, Meerqeen also promises a live musical performance for his guests! The details of the Raya event are as follows:
- Date: 11th -13th May
- Venue: Farm stay, Hulu Langat
- Cost of the special two-night stay: RM100
“Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a truly special time for families and friends to come together. We know the importance of having an idyllic space to host loved ones for the festive season, and we’re thrilled to have Meerqeen as our special co-host this Raya,” said Amanpreet Bajaj, Airbnb’s General Manager for Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
As seen in the photos posted above, the villa is surrounded by lush greenery and is just less than an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur. According to the website, the house boasts seven cosy bedrooms and spacious communal areas for loved ones to gather, making it the perfect place for friends and family to unwind from the bustle of the city.
