Bella Astillah is stepping into a brand-new role as she officially joins ERA FM as a radio announcer for the popular morning segment “3 Pagi ERA”. Beginning today (22nd September 2025), Bella will be waking up with listeners across Malaysia every weekday from 6am, bringing her signature charm and energy to the airwaves.
The exciting announcement was made via ERA’s official Instagram page, which shared a creatively crafted official appointment letter addressed to Bella. Styled like a formal document, it included her start date, assigned duties, and on-air schedule. According to ERA’s statement, the singer’s appointment is based on the team’s confidence in her talent, charisma, and magnetic personality, all of which they believe will add great value in entertaining listeners across the country.

To welcome her in true ERA fashion, the team surprised Bella with a cheeky prank call. Posing as a listener named “Danial,” none other than Syed Saddiq joined the call, attempting to disguise his voice. When one of the hosts invited anyone to share words of encouragement for the singer, “Danial” chimed in, saying, “I want to praise ERA for hiring such a beautiful woman with a sweet voice.” Bella, however, immediately saw through the act and called him out, saying, “This isn’t Danial!”
The hosts tried to keep the prank going, insisting, “How do you know? Danial always calls us like this in the mornings.” However, Bella didn’t budge. “You think I wouldn’t recognise your voice?” she said with a smile, making it clear she knew exactly who it was. When the hosts asked what “Danial” had to say, the politician finally broke character and admitted, “I can’t do this!” His sweet yet awkward attempt at a surprise left everyone in stitches, and he left them with a simple, heartfelt message: “Please take care of her.”
The fun didn’t stop there. In a follow-up video, the ERA team couldn’t resist teasing the singer about her “close friendship” with the politician, throwing out outrageous wedding ideas that had everyone laughing. “You two should do something different, maybe get married while running, or skydiving in wedding outfits,” they joked. Bella, trying to keep her composure, blushed and replied, “So that means… no need for fans anymore,” she quipped, referring to traditional Malay weddings where brides are often cooled with decorative fans. The hosts didn’t miss a beat, adding, “No fans, no makeup too, because your false eyelashes will just fly off!”
Whether or not skydiving wedding plans are in the works, fans can now look forward to hearing her voice live on-air every morning. Watch the full videos here:
