Earlier this year, Kasih Iris Leona posted a TikTok video to reveal that her best friend got together with her ex-boyfriend after they broke up. While she didn’t specify who it was, netizens were left to assume that it was YouTuber Nur Aisyah (also known as Cupcake Aisyah). The YouTuber quickly denied speculations that she was the reason behind the couple’s separation but admitted that her actions cost them their friendship.
Since then, Cupcake Aisyah has been on hiatus from her usual video posting on her channel. It was only earlier this month that she started to post content again but netizens began noticing that something – or someone – was missing in her videos as well as her social posts.
After a two month hiatus, Cupcake Aisyah posted her first video titled “Life Lately” where she was heard narrating a spoken word poem while showcasing a day in her life. She then started posting vlogs from her travels to Korea and, yesterday (Wednesday, 20th March), she posted her latest video which is a travel vlog of her time in Penang.
Looking to the comment sections of these new videos, fans seemed excited about the YouTuber’s return to making content. While most were happy about her being active again, others were curious about her friendship with influencer Eliya Farhana (fondly known as Nana). Many were wondering if she and Nana were still friends because they felt the videos lacked a certain element since the YouTuber used to feature her friends, especially Nana, in her videos.
Some even hope that the public figures will collaborate again one day while others noticed that the two no longer post about or with each other on social media since November of last year. After a quick check on Instagram, we can confirm that the influencers still follow each other.
