After the devastating news of his concert being cancelled earlier this year, Norwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker successfully performed his new show at KL Base, Sungai Besi, last week. Besides giving his all during his mind-blowing performance, he also surprised fans with another unforgettable experience.
Over the weekend, a video went viral on numerous social media platforms regarding Alan Walker, who was spotted at a restaurant in KL. In conjunction with the recent collaboration with well-known Malaysian-born comedian Nigel Ng, aka Uncle Roger, the 27-year-old DJ was seen trying out the food at Uncle Roger’s restaurant at Pavilion KL!
Posted on a Malaysian TikTok account, @/marcus_chia, the music producer can be seen wearing the restaurant’s official uniform, walking into the venue while carrying plates of Uncle Roger’s Special Fried Rice Combo, which he had ordered for himself and the fans he invited to dine with him. Fans, along with numerous other customers, were taken by surprise when they saw him serving the food.
Local netizens took to the comment section, praising the star for seeming humble despite being swarmed by tonnes of fans. Meanwhile, others left humorous comments about the “Faded” artist, jokingly commenting that the person in the video might be Harry Kane, as the DJ has a slight resemblance to the English footballer.
Countless other Malaysian netizens commented that they were surprised to get a glimpse of his face for the first time, as he is usually seen wearing a black mask, covering half of his face. A majority of them even welcomed him and expressed their excitement and gratitude for his visit to Malaysia. The DJ himself even added his comment under the video, stating that he was happy to see his fans and praising that the fried rice combo was appetising.
