Even our favourite stars have their idols that they’ve longed to meet in person. At the Singapore premiere of “Wicked: For Good”, Malaysian singer Aisha Retno met her musical idols, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and even got to sing with them!
The 25-year-old was at the movie’s gala premiere at Universal Studios Singapore on 13th November 2025 (Thursday), representing Malaysia. Through her social media accounts, she previously shared her excitement about the event and meeting the movie’s lead actresses, noting that she’s been a longtime fan of the two.

Upon meeting Ariana and Cynthia, Aisha introduced herself to them as the voice of Glinda in the Malaysian dub of “Wicked”, prompting a hug from Ariana. Cynthia also complimented the singer, saying she looked beautiful. It’s believed that the singer then invited the two stars to a quick rendition of “For Good” from the upcoming musical film.
As shown in the now-viral clip, the three vocalists were harmonising the musical number right on the yellow carpet, amid the cheering crowd. After the short yet sweet interaction, Aisha presented Ariana and Cynthia with batik from Malaysia, in the apt choice of pink and green to represent their characters.

Aisha gushed about the moment, writing in her post, “I love you, Ari, I love you, Cynthia. I indeed have been changed for good because of these amazing two.” Fans and fellow celebs have also reacted to the interaction, congratulating the “JEDA” singer on meeting and singing with her favourite stars.
While there was a scary moment that happened at the same premiere, we’re glad that Aisha had a heartwarming interaction with Ariana and Cynthia. Check out the video below:
