The trailer for Ouija has been playing in theatres for a couple of weeks now, and with the upcoming release of The Purge: Anarchy, Universal Pictures has finally released the trailer for its next horror movie Ouija.
No idea what ouija is? Well, an ouija board is a board printed with letters, numbers, and others signs, to which a planchette or movable indicator points, supposedly in answer to questions asked by people who are playing with it. Sounds harmless, doesn’t it? Well think again. Also known as a spirit board, the ouija board is believed to be used for demonic possession.
Tapping onto that believe, Ouija, the movie is inspired by this creepy, supernatural board game and the movie follows a group of friends who get stuck in the dark powers of this mystical board — dark powers that force each of them to face unimaginable horrors.
The movie stars horror and thriller veteran Olivia Cook of Bates Motel, Douglas Smith and Bianca Santos and is brought to you by the producers of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Paranormal Activity as well as the Insidious series. Ouija, directed by Stiles White is set to his cinemas this October — just in time for Halloween!
