After seven years away, Urbanscapes is back, bringing together the artists, musicians, makers, performers and communities who have always seen the possibility where others saw the ordinary.
Made Different has always been central to Urbanscapes, shaping its past and defining where the platform is headed. As a commissioning platform, Urbanscapes gives selected creatives the space to turn their love letters to the city into shared experiences, brought to life through their ideas, stories and collaborations.
Leading the movement are The Originals who helped shape Urbanscapes over the years, alongside The Next Wave of creatives redefining what Made Different looks like today. Together, their canvas is Kuala Lumpur, where its people, spaces and culture shape experiences that could only happen here.
Urbanscapes 2026 will take place from 15th October (Thursday) to 1st November 2026 (Sunday) across multiple landmark venues in Kuala Lumpur featuring commissioned experiences across music, art, design, food and culture. The full programme, featured creatives and collaborators will be revealed in the lead-up to the event.
