Onces (as fans of TWICE are lovingly known), get ready to party because the girls are coming to our side of the world!

The girl group will be holding a concert for the first time ever in Singapore, and it’s part of their “TWICELAND – The Opening” tour. Well, there’s some travelling to do to see them in the flesh, but at least it’s not a 6-hour flight, right?

Prior to their debut, TWICE had already made a name for themselves through the reality survival show “Sixteen”, created by JYP Entertainment and Mnet. The members of the group had to go through various grueling challenges in order to prove themselves worthy. After 10 episodes, Nayeon, Jungyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu were chosen to be in the final lineup.

They made their official debut in October 2015 with the mini-album “The Story Begins”, which spawned the hit “Like OOH-AHH”. Their subsequent releases, “Cheer Up” and “TT”, were also extremely popular and successfully topped all Korean music charts.

The group will be making their comeback next week (20th February) with “Knock Knock”, so fingers crossed that they’ll be performing their latest tracks then!
