Great news drivers! You’ll be happy to know that toll rates will be cheaper this coming Deepavali.
In conjunction with Deepavali, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) Sazally Saidi announced that all vehicles using the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and SPRINT highways can enjoy toll discounts.
According to Sazally, LDP users will be given a 60 sen discount while Sprint highway users will enjoy a 20 sen discount. The toll discount will take effect on this Saturday (29th October) from 12am to 11:59pm.
“This toll discount involves subsidies amounting to about RM256,00,” said Sazally. This is Litrak’s effort to help share in the joy of consumers in celebrating this upcoming festive season.
Elsewhere, Anih Berhad’s Karak Highway and East Coast Expressway (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Fasa 1, LPT1) will also be offering a 10% discount for drivers during Deepavali.
