Aside from “W”, “Uncontrollably Fond”, and “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo”, here’s another K-drama to look forward to this September!
South Korean broadcasting company Total Variety Network (tvN) has released several still cuts taken from their upcoming Friday-Saturday drama series, “The K2” (더 케이투). The drama stars Ji Chang Wook (지창욱), Song Yoon-A (송윤아), and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona (윤아).
Written by “Yong Pal” screenwriter Jang Hyeok Rin, “The K2” centres around Kim Je Ha aka K2 (played by Ji Chang Wook), an ex-soldier and bodyguard hired by a politician Jang Se Joon (played by Cho Seong Ha)’s wife named Choi Yoo Jin (played by Song Yoon-A), and Go An Na (played by Yoona), the illegitimate daughter of Jang.
In a series of still cuts, Yoona, looking estranged in white patient clothing, can be seen staring at a distance and sitting on a wheelchair. It was also reported that Yoona was in Spain recently to shoot some of her scenes.
“The K2” will be replacing tvN’s current Friday-Saturday drama, “The Good Wife”, and it is slated to premiere at 8pm (KST) on 23rd September 2016.
