Casio has unveiled the ECB-2200HTR, a collaboration with Honda TYPE R in their EDIFICE line. The EDIFICE line, dedicated to expressing a motorsports worldview, has always embodied the concept of “Speed and Intelligence”. This new model serves as a visual tribute to the Honda TYPE R.
Featuring authentic “Championship White” Honda paint on the dial ring and the iconic “Red H” badge that is exclusive to TYPE R cars, and has been used since the first win with the F1 race car Honda RA272 in the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix, the new ECB-2200HTR captures the essence of TYPE R’s racing legacy.
The white leather strap also showcases model codes of iconic TYPE R cars that mark milestones in Honda‘s history of challenge and innovation. Additionally, Alcantara, a material used in TYPE R, is used on the underside of the watch strap in black with red stitching, evoking the look of the car’s interiors.
