Running a business isn’t exactly easy. After all, you often need to come up with new ways to keep your customers engaged. Well, this milk tea shop in Thailand certainly went all out to attract attention!
This Thai milk tea shop understands their customers really well. Not only do they know that their customers are thirsty, they understand how thirsty they can be. As such, they promoted their drinks in a drink bag with a penis for a spout.
The shop in the Songkhla province publicised the unique packaging on Facebook. “Don’t stare (at it for) too long, (we’re) not quite immune,” they captioned. “Don’t be stressed, laugh a little and life will be colourful. Wherever you carry this bag, everyone (will) look at it.”
Needless to say, the comments were equally colourful. “Bite the butt and suck it,” one comment suggested. “No need for a tube, haha.” Another asked if the shop would be supplying whipped cream as well. One netizen stated, “Condoms are expensive. Let’s use (the) bag instead.” Another comment jokingly asked whether they should poke a straw through the top or through the phallic shape.
Unfortunately, the shop warned customers that the drinks wouldn’t be sold in the aforementioned packaging. According to them, the packaging was rather ‘delicate’. While some expressed their disappointment and understanding, others claimed it was a wise move.
Well, that is certainly one way of getting publicity for the store! If you are still thirsty however, we definitely recommend drinking the milk tea.
