This year’s Teen Choice Awards saw big winner “The Vampire Diaries” clean-sweeping a total of five surfboard-shaped trophies. Not that we’re biased but, yay! Well done to one of our favourite TV series!
The series bagged Choice Awards for “Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show” (beating “True Blood”, “Supernatural”, and even “Fringe”), “Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actor” Ian Somerhalder, and “Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actress” Nina Dobrev, to say the least.

Also, our favourite TV talk show host and comedian, Ellen DeGeneres (the great!) walked away with a Teen Choice Awards 2012 surfboard for “Choice Comedian“. Well, well, whaddya know? She was our choice too!
Other big winners include Taylor Swift (not surprising), One Direction (not surprising), and he-whom-everyone-wants-as-a-boyfriend, Justin Bieber (even more so not surprising!). Find out if any of your favourite stars walked away with this year’s surfboards too:
