If you’re not travelling outstation this Chinese New Year, Sunway Pyramid is the place to be this festive season. This year, Sunway Pyramid’s festive showcase, ‘Galloping Into Prosperity’, captures the joy and spirit of togetherness of the Year of the Horse. The mall’s concourse is reimagined with modern and traditional Lunar New Year displays and immersive installations.
A standout feature of the celebration is a mighty golden horse that stands tall on a giant 走马灯 (Zǒu Mǎ Dēng), a rotating carousel lantern featuring galloping horses. Six colourful horses designed by art lecturers from Sunway University are featured on the rotating lantern as a symbol of joy and good fortune. At the concourse, you can also draw your fortune at the Fortune House of Blessings and capture festive moments at the Lanternlight Photobooth.

Adding to the festive atmosphere are music and performances, captivating guests with a blend of artistry and tradition. This year, Sunway Pyramid collaborates with family content creator, The Kuans, and for the first time ever, The Kuans’ Chinese New Year music video sets will be replicated across the mall, adding more excitement to its celebration.
Guests can encounter set bits from four different music videos – That’s 马 Way, 通通好运来, Money Mari Mari, and 一起浪新年 – where they can film their own dance covers. Those who complete all checkpoints and scan the designated QR codes via the Sunway Super App will receive an exclusive Sunway Pyramid x SIS Huat Bag.
Through a lucky draw, the Kuan Family will also be selecting those who film a dance cover of any 2026 Chinese New Year songs by the Kuan Family at any checkpoint to win exclusive prizes. This includes a grand prize comprising Sunway Lagoon Tickets, Sunway Pyramid exclusive Leobubu, Sunway Megalanes Tickets, SIS Club Mask, and Kuans Family Angpow.
