There are plenty of K-pop concerts lined up for the rest of this year and early next year. Fans have been eagerly awaiting their idols’ arrival, but they are not the only ones in for a treat.

Anime fans, cosplayers, and fellow otakus, get ready — it has been confirmed that an anime music festival will be coming to Malaysia very soon! Here’s everything we know so far:

iMe Malaysia recently announced that the 2026 STRENGTH Japanese Anime Concert Tour will be coming to Malaysia early next year. The tour will kick off in Malaysia in January, making the country the very first stop — a rare honour. It will then continue to Taipei, Taiwan, and two cities in Australia, with further dates and locations to be announced.

So far, the lineup of artists for the Malaysian leg has not been revealed. However, fans have been speculating on who might appear, suggesting their favourite Japanese acts they hope to see perform live. Details of the upcoming show are as follows:

Personally, we would love to see all the Japanese artists who have previously performed in Malaysia return, as we had a blast during their last shows. Since the concert takes place in January, it is quite possible that some of the acts featured at this year’s Comic Fiesta could be included in the lineup for the anime music festival. Who do you want to see perform live on stage? Let us know and stay tuned for more updates!
