Wanting to know what’s good on TV, streaming, or on the big screen? We’ve got you covered!
From what to expect for cinematic superhero epics in 2025, to a beloved TV saga emerging on the big screen – here’s what you need to know about your favourite show.
“Game of Thrones” Movie In Early Development

We all know that the hit series “Game of Thrones” had a cataclysmic ending that soured the loyalty of all its fans around the world. However, it might finally get the redemption it needs as Warner Bros. is working behind the scenes to develop one film based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy universe.
For an unknown period of time now, Warner Bros. has been developing this film in secret. Multiple news outlets have determined that the film has just entered a very early stage of development. As a result, there is no filmmaker, cast, or even writer lined up – information on the project is incredibly scarce.

The Hollywood Reporter speculates that this secret and sudden development of a sequel might represent a sudden shift in Warner’s strategies due to their recent string of flops. If you are a dedicated fan of the show or simply kept close tabs on the IP when it was still popular, you’d know that the GoT showrunners, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, wanted to end the series with a trilogy of films rather than its 2019 final season, something that even Martin himself approved. However, it would never come to pass as HBO wanted to keep the IP as an HBO property.
Another reason for the change of heart is perhaps the change of HBO staff throughout the years since the series’ dishonourable exit. Furthermore, with the cinematic landscape changing and becoming more lax on movie and TV show tie-ins, HBO might be more keen on trying out the former showrunner’s vision.
Disney+ Marvel 2025 Roadmap

For quite some time, Disney has been in a bit of a pickle when it came to its Marvel scheduling. Just recently, we found out how the colossal entertainment company decided to drop the upcoming “Blade” reboot. Though it is no MCU, Disney+’s 2025 roadmap for Marvel can be considered a win as we get to see some continuations of our favourite series as well as some brand new faces.
Announced ahead of the season 1 finale of “Agatha All Along,” Marvel shared a quick trailer of all its upcoming projects that will carry into the sixth phase of the MCU. The season finale of the aforementioned series is scheduled to drop alongside the arrival of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” After that will be the third and final season of “What If…?” which is set to hit the streaming service on 22nd December and close out the year.

Starting 29th January 2025, we will see our favourite webhead in an all-new look in the animated “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” Jumping back to live action, we’ll see Matt Murdock don the red tights in “Daredevil Born Again,” which will land on 4th March. The trailer for this portion briefly showcased Daredevil’s iconic villain, Vincent Fisk, AKA Kingpin, as well as Frank Castle, AKA the Punisher.
Later on 24th June, we’ll see the continuation of Riri Williams’ story, who made her MCU debut in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” in her very own series “Ironheart.” Following that is a Black Panther spinoff miniseries titled “Eyes of Wakanda” on 6th August. Following this will be another animated story in the form of “Marvel Zombies,” which is scheduled sometime in October, perfect for Halloween. And the year is capped off with another live-action adaptation of “Wonder Man,” which starts with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon William and Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery.
