Many K-pop fans have probably daydreamed what it would be like to date an idol. Of course, daydreaming about your ideal date can be fun, especially when the idol plays the “partner” role with their flirtatious ways – but this particular idol’s ideal dating schedule has got fans more tired than excited.
Shared through a Korean forum, a post titled “The Reason Why It’s Hard To Date An Idol” went viral. The post featured a screenshot of Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) rapper Felix (필릭스) detailing his ideal date with a Stay (Stray Kids fan). The screenshot came from a live stream that the idol did during his birthday in 2021 but recently garnered attention because of how ambitious it was.
In the clip, the idol shared his ideal dating schedule:
- A Korean-style breakfast
- A brief walk
- Visit to an animal café
- Bike rides at the park
- Movie date at the cinema
- A shopping trip
- Dinner
- Another shopping trip
- Then a trip to a park or a café to end the day.
In the captions for the forum post, the netizen said that going to a concert is already tiring for someone with a regular person’s stamina so a three-day break might be necessary after a date with Felix. The netizen also jokingly asked why the idol’s dating schedule skipped lunch in favour of two shopping trips.
Many netizens were left amused by Felix’s ambitious dating schedule, and many found the idol rather cute, especially when excitedly talking about the date. One commenter joked that it’s funnier because he’s so serious about it. Another commenter said they would try their best to do everything on the rapper’s list despite how tiring it sounds.
