NEIGHBORHOOD and Clarks Originals have been collaborating and creating iconic designs for decades. The two brands have once again joined forces to reimagine their most iconic footwear – the Wallabee and the Desert Boot.
Starting off with the Wallabees: these classic shoes come in a solid black and have a cow suede vamp that adds a striking pop of colour and texture. The iconic footwear also features a rough-out leather upper with an uppercase “n” embroidered onto it.
However, this textural difference isn’t true for the rest of the shoe. The shoe’s interior is made with smooth skin leather that stretches from the toe box all the way to the collar.
The footwear also features a lightweight Vibram® rubber sole that provides exceptional balance with each step you’ll take.
Finishing off the entire upper portion of the piece is black lacing and a black hangtag. The hangtag and insole are stamped with the company’s co-branding, which seals the deal in this entire collaborative piece.
As for the Desert Boot, this sophisticated footwear comes in an equally eye-catching yet subtle earthy tan colorway.
This rugged piece is marked by NEIGHBORHOOD’s iconic zig-zag print running down the shoe’s thick cow suede upper. Designed with adventurers in mind, the shoe’s tough body, along with its Vibram® shark sole, can shrug off the usual hiking trails.
Because of the hardened body, the shoe features two pull-tabs, one located at the back of the heel and another atop the tongue for ease of wearing. The entrance is also expandable thanks to the stretchable side walls near the heel, letting it accommodate any foot shape.
Much like the Wallabees, the design is topped off with a hangtag and a stamped insole, which showcases the co-branding of the two companies.
