April has been a month of change for local internet celebrity Stella Chen (曾乐晴). From revealing she was pregnant on April Fool’s Day to getting a surprise proposal a few days after, Stella’s journey through life is certainly progressing.
Of course, Stella had to officiate things and tie the knot. Well, today (20th April), Stella Chen revealed she had gotten married! Not only did she have a private wedding quietly, she apparently held hers in Las Vegas!
“(I am) officially a wife!” Stella declared on her socials. “I made a wish, and you (made it) come true.” The influencer added a video showing her entire journey to Las Vegas, to get ready for her wedding. Stella apparently got a private plane to travel to Las Vegas before she reappeared in a limousine in a beautiful white wedding dress.
Stella Chen’s small ceremony took place in gazebo in a garden. It was beautifully decorated with flowers and greenery. Stone benches were set up, presumably for Stella’s guests and the walkway had scattered pink and white petals.
Her father was the one to walk her down the aisle which Stella later claimed had her tearing up. That wasn’t the only time the bride cried however. She was spotted wiping a few tears away during the ceremony itself! But, the day definitely ended on a happy note as Stella was spotted with a smile on her face as she left the venue with her new husband.
Fans and friends have already left congratulatory messages on Stella Chen’s socials, including Han Xiao Ai, Qiu Wen and Gladish Chan. It’s a delight to see Stella enjoying her special day, especially after the backlash she received for not revealing her husband’s face.
Stella still took care to keep her husband’s identity a secret on her wedding day, but his love for her still shines through. We wish the couple well as they start a new chapter together! And they aren’t the only ones, celebrity couple Laurinda Ho and Shawn Dou also got married just a few days ago!
