B.I. fans, rejoice! South Korean rapper B.I (비아이) has just announced he’s returning to Kuala Lumpur for his solo concert, “Hype Up In Kuala Lumpur”! The concert is part of his upcoming Hype Up Asia Tour and is scheduled for 30th June (Sunday) at Megastar Arena.

B.I, whose real name is Kim Hanbin (김한빈), debuted as the main rapper and leader of the YG Entertainment boy group, iKON. After leaving the group and the company in 2019, the 28-year-old started a solo career under his self-founded agency, 131 Label. Since then, the musician has been actively releasing songs including the viral hit, “BTBT” which features American artist Soulja Boy. He also recently dropped his first Japanese EP, Tadaima (ただいま), which features guest appearances from rappers Sky-Hi and Chanmina (ちゃんみな).

The last time the rapper was in town was for The Exchange TRX’s New Year’s Countdown Party. As the main act, B. I stunned the crowd with his performance but he did share his interest in returning to KL for a solo show. After announcing his second Asian tour, Malaysian fans were eager to see if Malaysia would be part of the tour and it’s safe to say that all their wishes have come true! B.I’s first solo concert in Malaysia will be organised by Lofi Entertainment. Here are the details of the concert:
