Fresh from his performance at the 2026 Grammy Awards, the rising American singer, Sombr, has been named Maison Valentino’s global brand ambassador, joining fellow ambassadors like Dakota Johnson, Freen Sarocha, Jeff Satur, IVE’s Liz and Rei, Clairo, Jolin Cai, Yang Zi, Sun Li, Lareina Song, and Lorenzo Zurzolo. The announcement follows his appearance on the Grammy red carpet in a custom Valentino look.
The New York City native has risen to fame with hits “back to friends”, “undressed”, and “12 to 12”, and his critically acclaimed debut album, “I Barely Know Her”, has remained firmly in the Spotify Global top 10. Named one of Billboard’s 21 under 21, he will begin the European leg of his sold-out “Late Nights and Young Romance” tour on 10th February.
A defining voice of his generation, Sombr has developed a distinctive personal style alongside a growing international career, and has consistently worn Maison Valentino on various occasions, reflecting a genuine connection with the house’s aesthetic. In both his work and public presence, Sombr explores the concepts of individuality, confidence, and contemporaneity through an intuitive approach to style that goes beyond trends.
“I am so excited and honored to be joining Maison Valentino as a Brand Ambassador,” exclaims Sombr. “I love fashion and I have the deepest respect both for the vision of Alessandro Michele and the legacy of the great Valentino Garavani. This legendary and forward-thinking fashion house has inspired me with their incredible collections and custom designs.”
