In case you missed it, an advertisement to promote a sex supplement for men has caused a major commotion among the internet community recently.
For those who don’t know, the 1-minute and 17-second clip shows a couple having a casual conversation about sexual intercourse.
As mentioned above, the video in turn has caused a quite an uproar among local netizens. In this case, most of them have slammed both the male and female actors for their sexually explicit approach in promoting the product.
Andika Putera – one of the actors in the clip – has since stepped in to clarify the whole issue by coming up with a lengthy statement on his Instagram. According to the fitness coach, the whole promotional video was merely for marketing purpose. He further added that both of them were provided with a script by the production team.

In addition, Andika claimed that both of them have received a substantial amount of payment for their appearance in the video. He then concluded the caption by saying, “Social media and real life are really really fake!” before advising everyone to “don’t easily jump to conclusions.”
After receiving further criticism from netizens, Andika came up with another post in a form of a video. The short clip shows him and fellow influencer – Nadira Isaac who also appeared in the controversial ad – apologising to everyone for their past mistake.

Not only that, the duo also assured everyone that they will be more careful in each and every step they have to take as an influencer as well as re-checking the dialogues in promoting and advertising a product.
Despite their intentions to clear the air, local keyboard warriors continue to bombard the couple with malicious comments. In this case, both Andika and Nadira were slammed for being desperate to gain cheap publicity. On the other hand, some also suggested them to ask for forgiveness from God instead of the public.
