Among all the rumours that we’ve heard about Girls’ Generation/SNSD, this particular rumour about member Tiffany sounded too good to be true.
Several rumours and speculations have recently surfaced online, suggesting that Tiffany could be the next SNSD member to debut as a solo artiste.
This wasn’t the first time that Tiffany was rumoured to be making a solo debut.
Rumours about her impending solo debut first emerged online several months ago. At the time, an inside source told Korean news outlet Sports Donga that both Taeyeon and Tiffany were working on their respective solo projects.
Taeyeon eventually made her solo debut in October and “I”, the title track of her first mini album managed to sweep 8 music charts immediately upon its release.
As for Tiffany’s solo debut, her talent agency SM Entertainment did not confirm the news.
A representative from the agency also responded to the report by giving a vague statement to Korean media outlet OSEN. The rep said:
Nothing has been confirmed yet.
Tiffany’s rumoured solo debut was highly anticipated by fans because similar to Taeyeon and Seohyun, she is one of the most powerful vocalists in the girl group. Fans are speculating that Tiffany will eventually make her highly anticipated solo debut sometime next year because the agency previously denied other comeback reports, only for them to be true.
No further details regarding Tiffany’s rumoured solo debut were unveiled, but the singer is currently busy promoting TaeTiSeo’s special Christmas album, “Dear Santa“.
