Unfortunately, it’s common to hear stories from celebrities about how they received inappropriate messages from fans. Some chose to ignore these messages and block the users while others have no problems exposing the perverts for their lewd behaviour.
It’s not often that these public figures would take legal action against the individuals for these DMs as most were probably just “jokes” but it looks like singer Kelly Azman has simply had enough.
Speaking to Gempak, Kelly revealed that he’ll be taking necessary legal action against those who have sent him inappropriate direct messages on his social media. Apparently, the celeb has been receiving multiple lewd messages from a certain individual for the past week.
“I noticed that I’ve been receiving DMs from this person since last week but this time it was just too much,” he said. As seen in the screenshot above, the netizen asked if they could kiss, hook up and perform oral sex with the singer. They even said that they’ll hug him on sight if they ever meet. “If this person ever messages me again, I will not hesitate to file a police report and take appropriate action against them,” the entertainer stated.
The 45-year-old added that he couldn’t identify the user’s real identity and deduced it to be a fake account that was made to bring him down. He ended his statement by urging people to stop making these fake accounts and sending him lewd messages. “Even if it’s just a joke, it’s not good for my physical and mental health so please, stop,” he said.
At the time of writing, there has been no update on whether or not Kelly received another message from that specific individual but let’s hope that the singer will not have to go through something like this ever again.
