It looks like we have more international stars coming our way! Event organiser Jeeharris Entertainment has announced they’re bringing American singer Akon to Malaysia and Singapore this November!
Akon will be coming to our side of the world for his “The Superfan Tour”, taking place on 19th November 2024 (Tuesday) in Malaysia and 20th November 2024 (Wednesday) in Singapore. In Malaysia, the 51-year-old will be performing at Mega Star Arena, while in Singapore, he’s performing at Arena @ EXPO (Hall 7). Ticket prices and seating plans have also been announced.
Most Malaysians are familiar with Akon for his 2005 R&B track, “Lonely”, which topped music charts in multiple countries. The Senegalese-American artist also found global success with his 2006 album, “Konvicted”, which featured the lead singles, ‘Smack That” and “I Wanna Love You”. The renowned producer has also worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Pitbull and David Guetta.
While there haven’t been many hints as to what Akon will perform when he’s here for the concert, we’re sure he’s preparing an exciting show for all his Malaysian and Singaporean fans. If you’re ready to party with the star, here are the details for his two concerts:
