Great news for the fans of Singaporean director Jack Neo (梁志强)! J Team Productions recently announced that Jack, along with the cast of the upcoming movie “I Not Stupid 3 (小孩不笨3)”, will be making an appearance in Malaysia next month!
“I Not Stupid 3” is the sequel of Jack’s highly popular “I Not Stupid” and “I Not Stupid Too” movies. Like its predecessors, this third film highlights Singapore’s education system and the parents who pressure their children to achieve good grades. The movie tells the story of Zi Hao (played by Zhou Yuchen (周俞辰)), a student faced with the tremendous pressure of schoolwork and the high expectations of his mother (played by Hu Jing (胡静)). In the meantime, his classmate Jayden (played by Camans Kong (江松恒)) also faces similar challenges with his mother (played by Jae Liew (柳勝美)).
The movie also stars child actors Joseph Ng Zhiyang (黄智扬) and Goh Wee Ann (吴委恩), Glenn Yong (容启航), Terence Cao (曹国辉), Jack Neo and several names from the previous “I Not Stupid” films. The movie will premiere in Malaysia on 13th June 2024 (Thursday). In celebration of the movie, the main cast and the director will hold a public event to meet their fans in Malaysia.
