SHINee’s Jonghyun will be back with another SM Station track.
SM Entertainment teased the release of the track today (Monday, 5th December), and revealed that the 44th SM Station track will be completely self-produced by Jonghyun.
The number, titled “Inspiration”, is described as an R&B song “with an EDM sound”, and is specially written and composed by the SHINee singer himself. The track is also said to combine Jonghyun’s own unique musical style with an Oriental feeling and charm. He will also be working with IMLAY, an up-and-coming Korean EDM artiste, who will also have a hand in producing the song.
However, fans who attended his 2-day concert in Seoul over the weekend, “Jonghyun – X – Inspiration”, already had the chance to listen to him performed the track live.
This is also not Jonghyun’s first time contributing his vocals to the SM Station project, as he had a collaboration track with Korean singer Heritage in March, titled “Your Voice (한마디)”.
SM Station is SM Entertainment’s digital music project, designed to release 1 track per week for 52 weeks. The project, which started on 3rd February, aims to showcase the musical capabilities of a different artiste every week, including artistes from within SM Entertainment and also other music labels.
“Inspiration” is slated for release this Friday (9th December).
