Who’s ready for more fashion, cocktails, and sex?
Fans of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte should be super stoked because the 4 leading ladies may finally be making their comeback to the big screen ever since their last outing in 2010.
Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall, together with Sarah Jessica Parker (believed to be the last in the cast to sign on) have officially agreed to be on board to film “Sex and the City 3”. Radar Online reported that “the deal is done and the script has been approved by all the women”.
The reason for SJP’s initial hesitation to sign on for the reunion was because of the script. Word on the street has it that the 51-year-old actress didn’t like the idea of how the characters were being portrayed as middle aged women.
But after a few changes made to the script, the actresses gave the green light for “Sex and the City 3” to proceed ahead. It’ll be interesting to see how the 3rd instalment gets a modern, intersectional feminist makeover.
Filming is expected to begin in mid 2017.
