Can love survive a world built on games and grief? Arisu and Usagi are separated and forced to outwit new allies and deadlier challenges when “Alice in Borderland” returns for Season 3 on 25th September, only on Netflix.
This new chapter promises the most jaw-dropping games yet. Expect a night-time shrine sequence where flaming arrows rain down from the sky, and a high-stakes match using colourful dice that pushes players to their breaking point. The official poster teases the looming Joker stage, showing Arisu and Usagi reaching desperately for each other above a swirling void – while new and returning players watch on with either desperation or determination.
Kento Yamazaki (Arisu) shares, “Since Arisu and Usagi are split into separate teams, I found it interesting to see the different atmospheres and character dynamics within each group. Over the seasons, the characters have become so beloved by fans, and I think that’s why the audience can really empathise with them during the life-or-death moments.”
Tao Tsuchiya (Usagi) reflects, “Everything Usagi has experienced in the past seasons is now part of her story, so whenever I needed to, I would go back and rewatch Season 1 and 2. With season 3 featuring an original story, I felt it was important to approach this role with everything that’s happened so far in mind.”
With jaw-dropping visuals, unforgettable new games, and the return of beloved characters, Season 3 is set to push Arisu and Usagi to their limits like never before.
