Sensates by their nature are a threat to secrecy. But instead of hiding from the Whisperers, this group of humans are now taking the fight to their foe.
Created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski, the creative sibling duo behind “The Matrix” franchise, “Sense8” will be returning to Netflix next month.

Here is the official synopsis for the sci-fi drama:
“‘Sense8’ is centred around 8 characters, from different parts of the world, who experience a violent vision, and soon find themselves mentally connected by the experience. They become connected, able to see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, with access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must the 8 adapt to this new ability and to each other, they must figure out why their lives are now in jeopardy.
“In Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of 8 connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organisation searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this organisation that is out to hunt and kill them.”

For the uninitiated, the sensates are individuals who are gifted with a psychic and empathetic link. Together, they are able to share skills and secrets with each other through their emotional and mental connection.
The 2nd season of “Sense8” will continue to follow the group’s struggles against those wanting them dead. However, it is presume that the mystery surrounding the Whisperers will be peeled back and we’ll get to see the main source of the organisation’s motivation.
