It’s always nice to see your significant other getting along with your friends. After all, you usually want them to like each other since you share your time with both of them. However, there are still some lines that shouldn’t be crossed, no matter how close your lover and friends are!
Hong Kong artist Raymond Lam Fung (林峯) recently went camping with his family and a few friends. However, during the outing, actor Ron Ng (吴卓) fed Raymond’s wife Zhang Xin Yue aka Carina (张馨月) in front of him! This left netizens concerned that the group did not understand boundaries.
Raymond and Carina have been married since 2019 and have a young daughter. The two have always been sweet on each other and are fairly family oriented. As such, it wasn’t a surprise to discover that Raymond had taken his family on a camping trip. However, he’d also invited a few friends along, including Ron.
The group had a lovely time, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying being with each other. Raymond and Carina also shared a few sweet moments between them, like when they tumbled together playfully on the grass. However, it was during the BBQ that a little ‘fight’ occurred.
Ron had been cooking the food and he casually fed Carina some. Carina, not wanting her husband to be left out, fed Raymond some too. “It tastes good,” Raymond commented. “Because Ron cooked it.” This left Carina pouting and asking, “So, I didn’t do anything?”
Raymond, apparently knowing his wife was going to retaliate, had quickly interrupted. “Plus, my wife fed me,” he added. This left Ron eyeing Carina, before sulkily telling her, “You’re jealous of me, aren’t you.” Amidst Carina’s laughter, Raymond could be heard telling the two to battle it out.
The interaction itself was sweet and some felt it showed the group had good chemistry and friendship. However, others were concerned and felt Ron’s action of feeding Carina had been inappropriate. “Is it okay to behave like this with other men in front of your husband?” a netizen reportedly asked. Another pointed out that they seemed to have no sense of boundaries. “It is actually hurting the other half,” they stated.
Their close relationship is certainly enviable. And it’s probably a blessing that the trio is comfortable enough with each other to joke around like this. On our end, we sincerely hope that nothing will come between Carina and Raymond, and of course, that their close friendship with Ron will continue!
