Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, the Hollywood actress openly shared her journey with the disease, revealing in 2020 that it had progressed to stage 4. Despite her diagnosis, the celebrity continued to work and live life to the fullest, even undergoing surgery in January 2023 to remove a brain tumour. Her determination to raise awareness and funds for cancer research was unwavering, as she aimed to show that those with terminal cancer still have much to contribute.

Fly so high, my friend“, Olivia wrote.
Dave Coulier, reminiscing about his early encounters with Shannen Doherty during the “Full House days”, took to X to share a heartfelt tribute. He fondly remembered the star as “lovely and had a beautiful smile.” Alongside his message, the actor posted a picture of the late celebrity wearing a Stand Up to Cancer T-shirt, reflecting on her courage and the other significant losses he has experienced in his life.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the director of Riverdale, also paid his tributes to the late actress in an Instagram post. Shannen had appeared in an episode of the series to honour the passing of actor Luke Perry. The late star was former cast member of “Beverly Hills 90210” and widely known from his role on “Riverdale”. Luke passed away at at 52 after suffering a stroke suffered a stroke. Following his death, Roberto had called upon Shannen to do a tribute episode. The director paid his tributes, sharing, “Grew up watching you in so many iconic, meaningful movies and shows. Was beyond honoured and humbled and grateful that you were a part of our most special episode of Riverdale ever. Thank you forever.”
