Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. Well, this local rich lady had no qualms proving that point to her ex-husband after he snubbed her for another.
Nothing hurts more than when your husband, someone you love, chooses another woman over you. However, this woman decided to take her payback to the next level when she destroyed her former husband’s house as a final goodbye gift.
The story was first shared with TikToker Zaleha Baba, who then took to her socials to spread the tale. According to Zaleha, the lady had fallen in love with someone who was a pauper. “From the day they met till the day they married, he had nothing. But she (still) accepted him,” Zaleha shared, adding, “He was only earning RM900 a month.”
But, twelve years after the couple tied the knot and had three kids, he did the unthinkable. He cheated on his wife and found himself a mistress. It wasn’t long before the duo decided to divorce. However, their divorce was made complicated by a piece of land that the lady’s father had gifted to the couple when they got married. To make matters worse, the ex-husband had apparently built a house on the land, which reportedly cost about RM90,000.
After the divorce, the lady’s family reportedly asked for the land back. However, the rich lady apparently had other plans. Deciding she could live with the loss, she reportedly got someone to destroy the house for her. The resulting destruction left her ex-husband’s mistress-turned-wife in tears. It also apparently showed him what she was really like, leaving him regretting his decision four months after they got married.
Netizens were quick to declare their support for the rich lady. “I would have done the same,” one admitted. “(If you) used my money to build a house, (then) divorced me and my kids, (you’ll get) chased off.” Others claimed it was a satisfying end for the story. As many said: “serves him right“.
Well, that’s certainly a tale of caution; as the man not only destroyed his former wife’s heart, he inadvertently destroyed his house as well. On the other hand, we hope the rich lady is doing well after her revenge stint. We’re certain few will want to cross her again in the future!
