The Inuyasha series is making a comeback with a new project called “Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogi Soushi”.
The upcoming series will reportedly shine the spotlight on Inuyasha and Sesshomaru’s daughters. A full visual has also been released together with some character designs.

Although “Inuyasha” saga ended many years ago with “Inuyasha: The Final Act”, creator Rumiko Takahashi has been busy with other projects. However, it looks like isn’t quite done with the half demon and the supernatural world yet.
In case you’re wondering what the poster says, the sentence on the right reads, “Sesshomaru has a daughter.” The one on the left reads, “Time passed since the stories of Inuyasha, now the daughters of the brothers will open the door to a new legend.”
No word yet if the new Inuyahsa project will be a series or a feature length film, or manga, but we do know that the storyline will take place in the same universe.
Hopefully the new sequel will include fan favourite characters like Kagome, Miroku, and Sango as well.
