More than just a talented artist, Balan Kash is a symbol of unity, proudly embracing and celebrating his Malaysian heritage. As a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, he understands the profound ability of music to deliver meaningful messages to the community.

Building on this vision, Balan Kash has reached an exciting milestone with the release of his first Malay-language album, “CEKAP.” This bold endeavor marks a significant step in elevating Malaysian music to the global stage. CEKAP is a vibrant pop-rap fusion, featuring five dynamic tracks that reflect creativity, culture, and innovation.

When asked what motivated him, as an Indian, to create a Malay-language album, Balan Kash explained that identity should transcend racial boundaries, as unity is at the heart of being Malaysian. “We shouldn’t be confined by labels based on race. Above all, we are Malaysians, and that is what matters most,” he said. He expressed his desire to challenge societal divisions and foster a sense of togetherness through his music. “I wanted to break these barriers, build bridges of unity, and inspire the upcoming generation to embrace this spirit of inclusivity and shared identity,” he added. His response captured the essence of CEKAP, which seeks to celebrate diversity while uniting people under the common banner of Malaysian pride.

When asked about the challenges he faced while working on his first Malay-language album, Balan Kash shared that he was fortunate to have been mentored by some of the most talented and renowned figures in the industry. Reflecting on this experience, he remarked, “Having such accomplished mentors guiding this project was both a privilege and a challenge. I felt the responsibility to ensure that my work met the high standards they uphold in their craft.”
