Peeps, there’s more K-Dramas heading our way 🙂
The latest one is Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC)’s “Protector” (also known as “Watchmen” and “Lookout”), which stars SHINee’s Key, Kim Young Kwang, and Lee Si Young.
“Protector” tells the story of a group of people known as the Protectors, who takes justice into their own hands by apprehending criminals who escape the legal law system. Actor Kim Young Kwang and actress Lee Si Young will be taking on the lead roles. The former will play a prosecutor who is seeking revenge while the latter takes on the role of a woman who quits her job as a police officer after her daughter’s death.
Meanwhile, SHINee’s Key will be playing a genius hacker by the name of Gong Kyung Soo who is also a cheerful person. Other cast include Kim Tae Hoon, Kim Seul Gi, Choi Moo Sung, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Sun Young, and Shin Dong Wook.
In anticipation of the upcoming drama, MBC has dropped several still cuts, giving us the first glimpse of “Protector”.
