2026 is gearing up to be another year with exciting releases on streaming platforms! Adding to the must-watch list is Prime Video’s new thriller series, “56 Days”, which releases mid-February.
The series is adapted from Catherine Ryan Howard’s best-selling novel of the same name. On 11th December 2025 (Thursday), Prime Video turned up the excitement for the exclusive series, releasing first-look images and announcing the official premiere date. All eight episodes of “56 Days” will be released on 18th February 2026 (Wednesday), exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

“56 Days” follows Oliver and Ciara, who fall for each other fast after meeting at a supermarket. Fifty-six days later, homicide investigators arrive at Oliver’s apartment to find an unidentified body, brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed. Intercutting between an intense single day in the present investigation and the twisted trajectory of the young lovers’ affair in the past, the series is both a unique crime story and a riveting, sexy, psychological thriller.
The star-studded cast features Dove Cameron as Ciara Wyse, Avan Jogia as Oliver Kennedy, Karla Souza as Lee Reardon, and Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly. “56 Days” is written and executive-produced by Lisa Zwerling, Karyn Usher, James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett via Atomic Monster, with Danielle Bozzone overseeing the series. Catherine Ryan Howard will serve as co-executive producer.

“56 Days” will be available for Malaysian viewers via Prime Video. For more information, visit Prime Video Malaysia’s Instagram and Facebook.
