One of the things people look forward to about getting married is taking wedding photos and we have seen couples going the extra mile (quite literally) when it comes to taking the most stunning wedding photos. Many have had the most creative ideas for a photo shoot and these two newlywed couples certainly did something different with theirs.

Let’s start with the one that’s currently trending on Twitter. Muhammad Ikmal Hakim Norman and his wife Juni S. Susantie Herman decided that they wanted to commemorate their marriage by taking some wedding photos at Zoo Negara (National Zoo). According to Bernama, the couple initially went to the zoo a day after their wedding on 23rd December to take a few photos at a few locations with beautiful scenery.

Unfortunately, staff members then informed them that they had violated the rules and regulations. However, the zoo’s Deputy President, Rosly @ Rahmat Ahmad Lana, who happened to be at the same location, approached the couple with the idea to make their photoshoot session even more lively. The next day, the newlyweds were then given the opportunity to have a free full-day session at Zoo Negara where they were allowed to take photos with any of the animals.

As seen in the photos shown above, it seemed like the newlyweds had a marvelous time interacting with the animals and enjoying a show with other audience members. This wonderful experience has even led Zoo Negara to consider offering a wedding photoshoot package in the future. While nothing is confirmed, the idea will certainly attract more animal lovers to have a photoshoot session at the famous tourist location.

Zoo Negara Sold Land For Commercial Use? Issues Statement Addressing Public Concerns

If wedding photos at a zoo weren’t bizarre enough, how about a mixed rice stall? Photos of a newly wedded couple circulated on Facebook with a caption that reads, “Perhaps the newlyweds met and fell in love while buying their meals, right?”. The photos showed the couple in their wedding attire posing for photos at a mixed rice stall at Batu Lanchang Market Food Center in Penang.

Speaking to China Press, one of the vendors at the food centre confirmed that the couple’s photoshoot session started from 11am to 1pm on 26th December. However, none of the vendors, including the owner of the mixed rice stall, were informed about the session in advance. As to why the couple decided to shoot their wedding photos at that specific stall, it was speculated that it was just out of convenience since the stall happened to be closed that day.

Whatever the case, the couple didn’t seem to bother anyone so as long as they were not causing any trouble, then they should be free to take photos wherever and however they please. Where would you take your wedding photos if given the opportunity?
